Recognizing this vital need, St. Therese English Medium School, Ayamkudy, organized a specialized professional development session for its teaching faculty on May 16, 2026. This program underscores our commitment to providing our educators with the advanced skills necessary to support and inspire today's students. The workshop, titled "From Discipline to Understanding: Effective Student Handling," was led by Sr. Anjitha SVM, a highly accomplished Clinical Psychologist from the Jeeva Counselling Centre, Kottayam. The session was intentionally designed to shift the educational paradigm from traditional, reactive discipline to proactive, empathetic understanding. Educators were equipped with psychological insights to better interpret student behaviors, manage classroom dynamics with patience, and address individual learning and emotional needs effectively. By investing in this high-caliber psychological training, St. Therese English Medium School ensures that our educators are not just instructors, but supportive mentors. This workshop empowers our faculty to build emotionally secure classrooms where every student feels deeply understood, respected, and motivated to reach their full potential. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Anjitha SVM for her invaluable guidance in helping us continue our mission of educating minds, nurturing hearts, and shaping futures.
